About

About us

Anderson Blues has been a family owned and operated blueberry farm producing supreme quality berries for over 40 years. Wayne Anderson started the farm and left it to his son Todd who carried on the family tradition along with his wife Paula, providing delicious high quality berries. My husband and I were fortunate enough to learn from our dear friends Todd and Paula over the last 20 years and have now become the new owners. We are so excited to continue the legacy of Anderson Blues and welcome the loyal customers back to the farm this season as well as new ones. We believe that providing healthy food for our family and the community is a life mission worth our dedication and hard work.

Located in the heart of the Willamette Valley, 5 miles north of Corvallis we offer a true farm experience just 10 minutes outside of the city. Our family looks forward to meeting you at the farm this summer! We value our loyal customers, and appreciate your business and support.

News - 9/27/2023

FRESH

 Sold out.

FROZEN

We now have 2023 frozen boxes available for sale. These berries are normal pre-picked prices, $4.50 a pound or 5lb. boxes for $22.50 and 10 lb. boxes for $45.00.

QUALITY

Thanks for your business and loyalty. We are committed to providing the best quality berries without the use of toxic chemicals. This means that the farm may look a little different than in the past. Although we are hand weeding and using other organic practices there are more weeds than in past years. Be assured that the berries will be just as yummy, large and easy to pick!

PRE-ORDER

We no longer have pre-picked berries for this season.

During regular harvest season, June-August; please call ahead to make sure we have enough! We are doing our best to get back to the order requests quickly, please excuse any delay, we are working on getting back to you! Sometimes the voicemail gets full, if so feel free to send an email or text. I farm, run the sales shed and try to manage the orders so it may take a few days to get a response. Keep in mind that we have only 20 acres of land and the farm was 40 before the previous owners sold. The south 20 acres were sold to a developer and therefore we have about half as many berries.

EMPLOYMENT

Thank you for your interest but we are all set with our work crew for the season.

CHANGES

Interested in the changes you see or buying mature plants? We feel lucky that we were able to continue to farm and purchase the north end of the farm. The unfortunate news is that the southern half of the farm was sold to a developer. We wanted to purchase that part as well but were not able to compete with developed land prices. The new owner (developer) has removed the plants and is selling the lots. If you are interested please find a way to contact him as we are not involved with this in any way. It is a sad loss but we have already planted many new plants and will plant more when we can. The only variety that we have lost entirely is Legacy, we only have one row. One of our new varieties, Valor contains Legacy as one parent and will have similar qualities as Legacy but will not be ready for harvest for a few years. We are experiencing high demand and fewer available berries due to the loss of the property. We are trying our best to keep up with demand but often get picked out. Please feel free to call for updates on the day you plan to come out!
